21 games are departing from PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium in May, including 6 PSVR2 games. If you haven’t yet played any of the games on the list below, now might be a good time as they are scheduled to leave PlayStation’s subscription service on May 20th.
Two Resistance games, Resistance: Fall of Man and Resistance 2, are leaving the classics catalogue for Premium subscribers in May. Also leaving is Infamous Second Son, with some fans theorising that this means a remaster or remake might be on the way.
PSVR2 owners will be hardest hit by May’s PS Plus departures, with six games leaving the PSVR2 section of the PlayStation Plus Premium catalogue. This amounts to almost half of what is currently on offer, although it is worth pointing out that Sains & Sinners Chapter 2 isn’t in the UK Premium catalogue.
There are currently 13 PSVR2 games in the UK Premium catalogue, and when the five or six PSVR2 games leave, that leaves a very small number for PSVR2 owners to try. So it will be interesting to see what Sony replaces the leaving games with.
