It looks like PlayStation are setting up a new game development studio in San Diego, California. In a job advertisement on greenhouse.io it states that this new studio is co-developing a new project with Naughty Dog in a beloved franchise.
Of course, there’s no mention of what this “beloved franchise2 could be but since it’s being developed by Naughty Dog it could be the multiplayer game based on The Last of Us. Or it could be something completely different.
This new PlayStation Studio is not the only studio to be working on a new game based on an existing franchise. Just earlier this month, Jetpack Interactive, who ported God of War(2018) to PC announced that they are helping Sony with a live-service game of a “prized IP.”
PlayStation certainly are pretty busy right now working on new games and creating new studio to make those new games. All wee need though is to get more information on these new games. And get to play them.
