Patch notes for patch 1.2.0 where released just the other day and the patch rolled out yesterday. The 1.2.0 patch adds support for the upcoming The Hidden Ones expansion as well as various fixes.
There was even more information about The Hidden Ones released yesterday in a developer Q&A. In the Q&A we learned some tasty info about The Hidden Ones, we learned that we’ll be meeting some returning characters from the main game as well as new ones specific to the expansion.
We also learned that The Hidden Ones takes place four years after the events of the main Assassin’s Creed Origins game and adds to the story of the main game as opposed to being a completely seperate narrative.
We also learned some stuff about the new Sinai region that has been added for The Hidden Ones expansion. Sinai is a mountainous region with a strong Roman presence and during the expansion players will witness the Roman occupation and there will be plenty of new military camps to discover and the new region will great for parkour and traversal gameplay.
We also know that The Hidden Ones will have a new level cap of 45, new weapons, gear and mounts. The Hidden Ones will also provide new crafting level’s to improve your gear.
I am really, really excited for The Hidden Ones, I’ve been aboslutely depsperate for some new Assassin;s Creed Origins content and I can’t wait to get my teeth into The Hidden Ones.
