After the past couple of days of price and release date announcements for Xbox Series S and X, Ubisoft brought forward the release date of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla to November 10th. Probably to coincide with the launch of the Series X and S, also happening on the 10th November.

A tweet from the official Assassin’s Creed Vallhalla Twitter mentions the November 10th date for Series X/S and current-gen systems.

There’s no mention of the release date of the PS5 version, in fact, the PS5 is not mentioned at all in the promotional image within the tweet.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla PS5 has been available to pre-order on Amazon UK for a while now. But, the release date has been showing as December 31st 2020 since it appeared on the online retailer’s listings.

That changed at some point last night though. I got an email late last night from Amazon, telling me that my pre-order fro Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Amazon Limited Edition will actually be dispatched sooner than expected.

The new arrival date for Ubisoft’s upcoming open-world Viking game on PS5 is now also November 10th.

From Amazon:

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Amazon Limited Edition (PS5) (Exclusive to Amazon.co.uk)”
Previous estimated arrival date: December 31 2020
New estimated arrival date: November 10 2020

Assassin's Creed Valhalla PS5 November 10th release date from Amazon UK

Could this mean that the PS5 will be releasing around the same time as both next-gen Xbox consoles? Maybe, but I’m not getting my hopes up.

Watch Dogs Legion PS5

Because the official Watch Dogs Legion twitter also tweeted that their game would also release on November 10th 2020, but only mentioned Xbox’s next-gen systems for this release date.

Amazon UK still has Watch Dogs Legion PS5 as releasing on December 31st.

Watch Dogs Legion PS5 Amazon UK release date

I’ll keep an eye on my Amazon orders page to see if the date for the PS5 version of Watch Dogs legion changes at any point.

We’ve yet to hear anything from Sony regarding the price of both their next-generation console offerings or the release date and pre-order info that we so desperately crave.

I don’t know if Sony will announce any new PS5 details this week or if they will wait to next week. The ball is in their court now and it’s time for them to make their move.
