Astro Bot, the superb platformer from Team Asobi which was released only on Friday has topped the UK Box Charts. The platformer was released to critical acclaim on September 6th, with reviewers praising the platformer for its gameplay, level design and excellent controls.
Astro Bot has proven very popular in the UK as it has topped the UK’s Boxed Charts. Overtaking Star Wars Outlaws, Hogwarts Legacy and Elden Ring to claim the number one position in the all-formats chart.
In the PS5 chart, Astro also beats out the three aforementioned games to take it;s rightful place at the top of the chart. Astro Bot has also removed Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 from the top 5 on the PS5 chart. Spider-Man 2 now drops to eighth place after re-entering the boxed chart last week.
According to GFK’s chart data for the PS5 format, concord also was a new entry into the top 10 PS5 boxed games in the UK. This is odd considering Sony and developer Firewall shut eh game down the same day Astro Bot was released.
