Control 2 and Alan Wake developer Remedy Entertainment have teamed up with Annapurna Interactive to bring Control and Alan Wake to film and TV. The developer also says that the team are working full steam ahead on Control 2.
In a recent announcement and press release, the companies revealed that Annapurna will be acting as co-production and co-financing of the upcoming Control 2 game.
Remedy’s Creative Director Mikael Kasurinen and Executive Producer Juha Vainio said they were “super excited” to get Annapurna on board with the Control franchise.
We’re super excited to get Annapurna on board! Annapurna’s creative values align perfectly with ours, making them an inspiring partner for the journey ahead. We at Remedy have been working on Control 2 for a while already, it’s looking amazing, and we feel Annapurna is the perfect partner to work with as the game development is moving forward towards production and eventually across the finish line.
But for fans eager to hear and see more about the upcoming sequel to the 2019 supernatural action adventure, you’ll have to wait a while. “The Control 2 development team is working full steam ahead on the game. We know you are eager for news on the game (and Condor!), but you are going to have to wait a while for that,” Remedy said.
