Death Stranding 2 Has Been Officially Announced for PS5 at The Game Awards

Teaser trailer also shown for the second Death Stranding game

Hideo Kojima has officially announced Death Stranding 2 at this year’s Game Awards. Along with the announcement came a just over 4 minutes long teaser trailer which you can clap your eyes on below.

After the teaser trailer presentation at The Game Awards Kojima said that he re-wrote the whole Death Stranding 2 story after the Covid-19 pandemic.

The existence of a second Death Stranding game was accidentally leaked by star Norman Reedus when the actor let slip that he had started working on the game.

Like the first Death Stranding, Death Stranding 2 will be written, directed, produced and designed by Hideo Kojima himself.

Norman Reedus of The Walking Dead game returns in his previous role and the current announced cast for Death Stranding 2 is: Norman Reedus, Léa Seydoux, Elle Fanning, Shioli Kutsuna, and Troy Baker

Death Stranding 2 is currently still in development and no release date has been announced. However, the game will be coming exclusively to PS5 and will be published by Sony Interactive Entertainment.
