It is officially Destiny 2 hype time, the Destiny 2 Beta is now available to download from the UK PlayStation Store.
unfortunately though you won’t be able to play it until the 18th, assuming you pre-ordered. If you did not pre-order any Destiny 2 version, you will have to wait until the open beta is available on the 21st.
As of writing this article, the Beta download does not appear to be on the PS4 console store but is available on the PlayStation store on the web at the following link https://store.playstation.com/#!/en-gb/games/destiny-2-beta/cid=EP0002-CUSA08456_00-DESTINY2BETA0001
You will have to add the Beta to your basket then proceed to checkout and complete the transaction. Then you can add it to your download list and then click the button to download it to your PS4.
The Beta will download pretty quickly depending on your connection speed, for me it probably took less than one minute. However the total file size 12.596 GB, this will continue to download once the game launcher has downloaded and installed on your PS4.
Only 5 days to go until we get our hands on the Destiny 2 Beta, for now we can just watch the loading screen over and over.
