Destiny 2: Xur Inventory & Location for December 15th – 19th 2017

Xur is holed up in the Tower Hangar and has a couple of new things with him

Destiny 2 Xur Inventory & Location for December 15th to 19th

Friday is here again and that means that Xur, the mysterious agent of the Nine, purveyor of all things exotic has graced us with his presence yet again. This week is no ordinary visit from Xur though, oh no, he has brought a couple of extra things for us to spend out hard-earned Legendary Shards on.

Destiny 2 Xur tower hanger location map

The temperatures really must be dropping outside as, for the first time in Destiny 2 history Xur has set up shop in the relative warmth and comfort of the Tower Hangar instead of out in the freezing cold wilderness somewhere. You’ll find Xur upstairs in the Tower Hanger, on a balcony behind where the Dead Orbit guy is.

Without further ado, let’s take a wee look at what exotics Xur has for us this week and what extra stuff he has too.

First up in Xur’s inventory we have D.A.R.C.I, an exotic sniper rifle. D.A.R.C.I stands for Data Analysis, Reconnaissance, and Cooperative Intelligence device. This sniper rifle has the intrinsic perk called Personal Assistant where you can aim at an enemy and view health and other critical information in the scope. D.A.R.C.I also has the Trait perk of Target Acquired when Personal Assistant is active the weapon has better target acquisition and deals more precision damage.

Next on the list we have Celestial Nighthawk and exotic Hunter helmet. The intrinsic perk for this helmet is called Hawkeye Hack which modifies Golden Gun to fire a single, high-damage shot. Enemies eliminated by the shot explode. The high-damage, single shot although not very useful in PvP can be definitely be useful in PvE to deal a lot of DPS on high health enemies such as bosses.

Next, for Titan’s we have the rather amazing looking exotic chest piece called Hallowfire Heart. This chest piece looks great with the fire in the chest but it is also very useful outside of looking totally bad ass. It has the intrinsic perk called Sunfire Furnace which greatly improves the re-charge rate of your solar abilities while Hammer of Sol is charged.

Lastly on the gear front we have the exotic Warlock helmet Eye of Another World. This helmet has the intrinsic perk called Cerebral Uplink which highlights priority targets and improves the regeneration speed of your grenade, melee and rift abilities.

New for this season we also have the Fated Engram and the new Three of Coins available for sale.

The Fated Engram or Isochronal Engram, will give you an exotic (either weapon or armour) that you don;t already have in your collection. This is very useful if you are struggling to get that one exotic armour or weapon to drop. However, there is a couple of catches. The Fated Engram is still RNG based so if there’s a few exotics you haven’t got and say you really want Tractor Cannon, there’s no guarantee that it will give you exactly what you want. The second catch is that the Fated Engram can only be acquired once per week, and that is per account not per character. The Fated Engram will also set you back a whopping 97 Legendary Shards.

Next is the new Three of Coins, a boon from the Nine that feels both strange and familiar. You can buy one Three of Coins for 37 Legendary Shards and you can buy as many as you want. They have been simplified this time around according to Bungie, with no obscure stacking mechanics and no need to re-apply them before a boss fight. The effect of Three of Coins will last for 4 hours.

That’s all Xur has for us this week, enjoy using your Three of Coins, I hope the exotics are plentiful.
