A few weeks ago I managed to get a hold of a DualSense Charging Station. I had been trying to get one for a while but seems that they are harder to come by than the actual PS5. I’ve unboxed it, plugged it in and let it charge my DualSense controllers. So here’s my review.

PS5 DualSense Charging Station Review

The first thing I noticed about the DualSense Charging Station was the nice, simple packaging. The box is of the same design as the one used for other PS5 accessories like the DualSense controller. The packaging has a nice clean design and is easy to open. Inside is another box that keeps the Charging Station and other bits and bobs protected.

Inside the box is the DualSense Charging Station itself, a UK plug and a power brick.

The Charging Station has a good amount of weight to it, it’s not heavy by any means but has enough weight that you know it is a high quality, well-built product. I like that it came with a plug as it meant I could plug it straight into the wall socket and put it to work charging my controllers.

The design of the Charging Station is also very cool. If you stand it up vertically it looks like a mini PS5. I thought this was a really nice design touch which compliments the PS5 perfectly.

The DualSense Charging Station has room for two DualSense controllers. It also charges the controllers pretty fast, so if one controller is low on charge during an epic gaming session, you’ll have another fully charged controller on hand right away.

DualSense Charging Station Verdict

The Sony PS5 DualSense Charging Station is a must-have accessory for all PS5 owners. It is a high-quality product without a high price tag. The sleek black and white design pairs perfectly with your PS5 and the other PlayStation 5 accessories.

The Charging Station looks and feels like a premium product and is a testament to Sony’s high-quality manufacturing and design standards.

The best thing about the PS5 DualSense Charging Station though is undoubtedly the fact that it plugs into a power outlet. This means that the USB ports on the PS5 can be freed up for other things.

The charging station also appears to have very low power consumption. I have left mine plugged in and switched at the wall socket since I got it. And I haven’t noticed any increase in electricity usage.

The DualSense Charging Station is an absolute must-have for every PS5 owner.
