Final Fantasy fans around the world have been chomping at the bit for ages to get some Final Fantasy XVI gameplay. Their wishes were granted at yesterday’s Stae of Play when Square Enix dropped the all-new “Dominance” trailer for fans to drool over.

Final Fantasy XVI leaked about two years ago when some sleuthing fans found a hidden Twitter account for the game. Since then Final Fantasy fans have been eager to see more from the game. And the new trailer does not disappoint.
The trailer shows the high-octane combat that you would expect from a Final Fantasy game. And shows the game’s protagonist Clive Rosfield wielding an arsenal of brutal attacks.

Personally, I’ve never really been into the Final Fantasy games but XVI looks like it might be pretty great. So maybe I will give it a try and it might even make me fall in love with the franchise.
Final Fantasy XVI is scheduled to release during the Summer of 2023. It will launch on PS5.
