Free PS Plus Games for June 2018 are XCOM 2 and Trials Fusion

Another great line up of free games

FREE PS Plus games for June 2018

Sony has just recently sent out emails detailing the FREE monthly games we’ll be getting for June 2018 and I’m glad to say it’s another pretty good line up.

According to the marketing email, June’s two PS Plus games are worth £60.98 and we get them for absolutely nout with our PS Plus membership, how good is that?

Without further ado, let’s take a look at what we’re getting for FREE this month on PS Plus.

XCOM 2

XCOM 2 is a turn based strategy game where humanity has to fight against Alien foces who now rule earth. It is the sequel to XCOM. XCOM 2 was originally released on September 2016 and has very favourable reviews on Metacritic.

I’ve also seen XCOM 2 pop up on various Top PS4 games lists so it must be pretty good.

Although turn based strategy games aren’t usually my cup of tea, there is aliens in it whcih is pretty good. I’ll probably give XCOM 2 a try as I’ve not played many turn based strategy games.

Trials Fusion

Trials Fusion is not some new Destiny 2 mode wehreyou play Trials of the Nine with only Fusion RIfles, it’s actually a motorbike trials game with some crazy physics and some seriously tough courses to complete.

I actually got Trials Fusion ages ago so I won’t need to download this one but I do reccomend it as it is extremely fun. Trials Fusion has some great courses to complete and a cool editor to design your own, there’s also multi player features and tutorial features to teach you how to control your trials fusion bikes.

The game can be pretty addictive and I’ve found myself trying difficult tracks over and over again until I finally managed to finish them.

Trials Fusion also scores highly on Metacritic with a metascore of 79.

If you like fun motorbike games, I definitely recommend Trials Fusion.

And there we have it, two great games for June 2018 on PS Plus all costing zero pounds. The PlayStation Plus monthly free gmae line ups are definitley getting better and better and makes the £50 a year PS Plus subscribtion more than worth it.
