The Game Awards 2022 is almost upon us, the annual event that celebrates everything gaming will be broadcast live on December 8th. Host Geoff Keighley has revealed the nominees for this year and out of all of the nominees two PlayStation exclusives, God of War Ragnarok and Horizon Forbidden West, dominate in almost every category.
God of War Ragnarok has been nominated in nine categories and Horizon Forbidden West has been nominated in seven categories. Both games are nominated in the Game of the Year category so that will be a tough call. God of War Ragnarok also sees two of it’s voice actors nominated in the Best Performance category with both Christopher Judge (Kratos) and Sunny Suljic (Atreus) nominated.

The Uncharted movie, which was produced by PlayStation Productions was also nominated in the Best Adaption category where you can vote for the best movie or TV adaption of a game.
The Game Awards host Geoff Keighley has also revealed that Sony Interactive Entertainment is the most nominated publisher at this year’s awards. The PlayStation Exclusive’s publisher has a total of 20 nominations.
The Game Awards 2022 show will be live on December 8th and you’ll be able to watch it on the official website and most other streaming platforms.
