Who says physical media is dead? Not me, I love physical media, especially games. When you buy a physical game on a disc, in a plastic case, it feels like you own something. Unlike digital games which can sometimes disappear from storefronts and game libraries without much notice.
Physical games on PlayStation have always been popular with collectors and people who just want to own their games. And to prove physical games are still popular, Honkai: Star Rail has just announced that PS5 will be getting a special physical edition very soon.
This comes hot off the heels of Cocoon publisher Annapurna Interactive releasing a physical version of the indie puzzle adventure on PS5 today.
Just like Cocoon, publisher PM Studios has announced that it has teamed up with HoYoverse to bring the popular space fantasy RPG to PS5 with a special physical Trailblazer edition.
Honkai: Star Rail released on PS5 digitally in October last year. But this will be the first time the game has had a physical edition. In the press release today, it only mentions PS5, so only PS5 owners will get to collect the soon-to-be coveted Trailblazer edition of the game.
It’s not just the game disc and box you will get with the Honkai: Star Rail Trailblazer edition, this special physical version of the game comes with some rather nice physical goodies. Check the list of goodies out below.
