Horizon Forbidden West has won the Award for Excellence at this year’s Japan Game Awards. Developer Guerrilla Games thanked the Japan Game Awards for the “wonderful honour.” News of Horizon Forbidden West winning this award was originally tweeted by PlayStation Japan.
Other recipients of the Excellence Reward included Resident Evil Village and Lost Judgement. Elden Ring took the Grand Award at the Japan Game Awards which I presume is like the Game of the Year Award.
