The free PlayStation Plus games for January 2023 have leaked early. The leak comes from dealabs.com who have pretty much leaked almost every free PS Plus game ahead of time and never gotten it wrong.
According to dealabs.com the free PS Plus games for January 2023 will be:
- Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order – PS5/PS4
- Axiom Verge 2 – PS5/PS4
- Fallout 76 – PS4
Str Wars Jedi: Fallen Order
The timing of giving away Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order seems like a smart move by Sony and EA. The sequel, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is due out in March 2023. So giving away this gem might make people by the sequel.
Fallen order is actually a really great game, the combat is a bit so-so but everything is pretty great. The game got a free PS5 upgrade in June 2021 and it had trophy auto-pop. So you might want to play the PS4 version first, then auto-pop the trophies on the PS5 version.
Fallout 76
Fallout 76 is another pretty decent game. It’s also included with PS Plus Extra so you might have played this already. I put a few hours into it and it was a good way to pass the time. It’s an online-only game and it is pretty challenging up until a certain level but it has a great community and other players you meet in the world will give you free stuff to help you out.
Developers Bethesda has added quite a bit to Fallout 76 since its initial launch and there is plenty to do. Even though it is online, it has a story that you can play through if you are not bothered about any of the other stuff.
Axiom Verge 2
Axiom Verge 2 looks like a retro side-scrolling game, I’ve never played it but IGN gave it a good review.

PlayStation hasn’t officially revealed the free PS Plus games for January 2023 yet so these could possibly change. But you can expect an official announcement soon with the games becoming available probably int he first week of January.
