July 2022 PlayStation Plus Games Have Leaked

The rumoured games will include Crash Bandicoot 4 and Arcadegeddon for PS5

PS Plus games for July leak

The new PlayStation Plus service has launched pretty much worldwide. Earlier this week UK, Europe and some other countries were the last to get the new PlayStation Subscription service. The new service comes with three tiers, but if you only want to stick to the regular PS Plus(Essential) then you’ll still get your free monthly games.

The PlayStation Plus monthly games are due to be refreshed early next month. But what are the games going to be? Dealabs.com seems to have some insider knowledge on this matter. Either that or they are just really good at guessing.

The French website, which has accurately predicted the PS Plus monthly games before is stating that the free monthly games for July 2022 will be as follows.

  • Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time (PS5/PS4)
  • Arcadegeddon (PS5)
  • The Dark Pictures Anthology: Man of Medan (PS4)

If Dealabs are correct, then this month will bring two PS5 games, Crash Bandicoot 4 and Arcadegeddon. Man of Medan is already in the PlayStation Plus Extra games catalogue, so doesn’t really provide any extra value to Extra or Premium subscribers.

Crash Bandicoot 4 is by all accounts a pretty decent game though, so that might be worth a shot. In a recent press release, the developers of Artcadegedon announced that the game was coming out of early access and hitting PS5 on Tuesday, July 5th. So this is the likely date for the July PS Plus games to go live.

Arcadegeddon is an online multiplayer shooter so will no doubt benefit from the influx of players that being included in PS Plus usually brings.

We will soon find out if these predictions are accurate. Sony usually reveals the next month’s PS Plus games just before the end of the current month.
