Maneater Guide Fawtick Bayou to Dead Horse Lake

I am thoroughly enjoying playing Maneater. Munching sea creatures whilst swimming around like I own the joint is great fun. As my Day One edition of Maneater came almost a week late, I am pretty much still in the games early hours.

I’ve done a few quests and a bit of exploring in Fawtick Bayou but found myself a bit stuck about how to proceed to the next area – Dead Horse Lake.

Maybe you are wondering how to get to Dead Horse Lake yourself. The in-game map doesn’t show any obvious, clear route. So how do you get from Fawtick Bayou to Dead Horse Lake?

Turns out it’s pretty simple really.

Once you have completed what you want to complete in Fawtick Bayou you’ll probably see a quest marker pop-up over in Dead Horse Lake.

To get to Dead Horse Lake simply head to the eastern part of Fawtick Bayou. Just at the border with Dead Horse Lake. If you haven’t explored around that particular area before, you should see a question mark appear.

Head to the area with the question mark, shown in the screenshot above.

Once you are there, you should notice a steel grate which is blocking access to a large pipe/tunnel.

Swim close to the steel grate and press L1 a few times to use your tail whip attack to smash down the grate. And that’s it. Swim through the pipe and you will eventually reach Dead Horse Lake.
