Hello Games announced the free No Man’s Sky PS VR2 update at Sony’s State of Play in June. And it looks like it will be coming to Sony’s next-gen VR headset when it launches on February 22nd next year.
As originally reported by Eurogamer and confirmed by PlayStation Fanatic a message by the developers which appears on the PS5 dashboard alludes to the No Man’s Sky PS VR2 update coming in February 2023,
If you have No Man’s Sky installed on your PS5, you will see the message below when the game icon is highlighted.
Tapping X on the Learn More link plays the No Man’s Sky PS VR2 trailer. At the end of the trailer, the message is displayed in full and it states “Coming in February 2023.”
So it seems highly likely that the No Man’s Sky PS VR2 update will launch alongside the headset on February 22nd next year.
When Hello Games first announced the PS VR2 update for No Man’s Sky, founder Sean Murray said that the new hardware will take the sense of immersion and believability up by several notches.
