Three games make up the PlayStation Plus offering for November 2020 with the highlight being Bugsnax for PS5 owning PS Plus subscribers. PS4 owners also get two awesome games: Middle-earth: Shadow of War and Hollow Knight.

Bugsnax Free on PS Plus for PS5 Owners

If you are getting a PS5 at launch and are also a PlayStation Plus subscriber then you’ll probably want to download Bugsnax. Bugsnax was rumoured to be a free PS Plus title a couple of weeks ago and it turns out the rumours where true.

Bugsnax is a game about bugs that are also snacks and takes place on a whimsical island called Snacktoosh Island. It’s developed by Young Horses, the same peeps that brought us Octodad, so it’s bound to be pretty special.

Bugsnax will be available to download when PS5 launches on November 12th for the US and November 19th for the UK and Europe. If you’re not a PS Plus member yet you should absolutely join. It’s well worth it. A 12-month subscription is only £50.00/$60.00 and you get at least two free games every month. You can buy a subscription from Amazon UK or Amazon.com.

November PS4 PS Plus Games

If you’re not getting a PS5 at launch don’t worry, PS4 owners still get thier usual two free games to download or add to your library. For November you’ll be getting action, RPG Middle-earth: Shadow of War and action-adventure game Hollow Knight.

Middle-earth: Shadow of War

Middle-earth: Shadow of War is an action RPG by Warner Bros. Games and is the sequel to 2014’s Shadow of Mordor. Shadow of War is an epic open-world game with tons of content and will keep you busy for hours.

The game received pretty mixed reviews. It currently has a Metascore of 80 but a user score of only 4.4 on Metacritic. Regardless of scores, it’s definitely worth adding to your library.

Hollow Knight

Hollow Knight is an action-adventure game from Team Cherry. You play as a nameless Knight who has to travel through a plague-infested kingdom. Fighting bosses, unlocking abilities nad uncovering mysteries is the name of the game in Hollow Knight.

Hollow Knight gets a very decent user score of 8.7 on Metacritic meaning that it’s worth a try. It is free after all.

PS5 PlayStation Plus Collection Games

If you’re getting a PS5 and Bugsnax and all the other PS5 games coming at launch isn’t enough, there’s also all the PlayStation Plus Collection games to enhoy.

The PS Plus collection seems to have two new games added (Black Ops 3: Zombies Chronicles Edition & Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy) making the collection 20 genre defining games strong.

PS Plus Collection games are only available to PlayStation Plus subscribers, so make sure to pick up a subscription if you haven’t done so already. Get a subscription on Amazon UK or Amazon.com.
