The official trailer for the Gran Turismo movie has just been released and the film looks set to be an absolute adrenaline-fueled, thrill ride.
The Gran Turismo movie is directed by Neil Blomkamp who previously directed the awesome District 9 and Chappie. The film stars Archie Madekwe as the aspiring teenage race driver and Orlando Bloom.
The film is based on a true story of a teenage Gran Turismo player (Madekwe) called Jann Mardenborough who gets the chance of a lifetime to take his Gran Turismo game skills onto the track as a real race driver.
Gran Turismo is produced by Columbia Pictures and PlayStation Productions. There are several other films and TV shows in the works by PlayStation Productions including a series based on Twisted Metal starring Anthony Mackie.
There is also a Horizon TV show happening as well as a second season of The Last of Us. Not to mention a show based on God of War and a Ghost of Tsushima film.
Gran Turismo is expected to be in cinemas around August 11th this year.
