What a game Astro Bot is. The PlayStation Icon returned in a fully fleshed-out platformer for PS5 in September last year and gained massive praise from fans and critics. Astro Bot was deemed to be one of the best platformers ever, if not THE best. With super fun gameplay, cool mechanics and memorable levels, Astro Bot has it all.
Astro Bot by PlayStation Studio Team Asobi was so good that it won several awards at last year’s The Game Awards. Including the coveted Game of the Year award.
Another thing Astro Bot also had was a cool little photo mode. Astro Bot’s photo mode is pretty basic compared to some photo modes you see in games like The Last of Us and Ghost of Tsushima. But you don’t need all the fancy effects, lighting and other stuff you get in modern photo modes when Astro Bot’s levels are so colourful and vibrant.
