PlayStation has revealed what free games will be coming to PlayStation Plus Essential in October.
October’s PlayStation Plus Essential line-up includes an arcade racing game, a fighting game and a shooter. The bad thing about recent PlayStation Plus Essential free games is that Sony is just dipping into the PS Plus Extra catalogue, so there is not really anything new for Extra and Essential PS Plus Subscribers.
Nevertheless, the three games on offer next month are varied and of different genres I suppose. So if you are a PS Plus essential subscriber, you may as well add them to your library.
PS Plus Essential October 2022 PS5/PS4 Games
The PS Plus Essential games for October are:
- Hot Wheels Unleashed (PS4/PS5) – An arcade racer with a track builder, split-screen co-op and multiplayer. It looks like it might actually be pretty fun.
- Injustice 2 (PS4) – a fighting game from Mortal Kombat creators featuring characters from the DC Comics Universe.
- Superhot (PS4) – A first-person shooter with a cool slow-motion twist to the gameplay mechanics. It’s supposed to be pretty good but sadly it looks like it is not the PS VR version which is supposed to be tremendous.
