The free PS Plus games for April 2021 have been announced. Sony continues the trend of the last few months with yet another cracking line up of free games for PlayStation Plus subscribers on PS4 and PS5.
PS Plus are definitely in for a treat this April when you’ll be able to get your hands on three amazing games – for completely free. Save your fellow Mudokons in Oddworld: Soulstorm (PS5 only), the sequel to 2014’s Oddworld New ‘n’ Tasty. Take on the hordes of Freakers in Days Gone or destroy a zombie army in Zombie Army 4: Dead War.
Let’s take a quick look at April’s PS Plus freebies.
Oddworld: Soulstorm
Abe returns in this brand new adventure from Oddworld Inhabitants. Soulstorm takes place directly after the events of 2014’s New ‘n’ Tasty. Abe has undergone a transformation from being a clueless Mudokon cog, literally about to be chewed up by the Glukkons’ big business machine, into an unlikely hero and a beacon of hope.
Expect a pretty challenging game from Soulstorm with plenty of puzzles and stealth action as you lead your Mudokon friends to freedom.
Days Gone
PS4 exclusive Days Gone was definitely one of the most underrated games of 2019. If your a PS5 owner subscribed to PS Plus you’ll already have access to this with the PlayStation Plus Collection. If you’re on PS4 and have never played Days Gone before, now is your chance to experience an amazing open-world, story-driven game.
Days Gone is a fight for survival against zombie-like Freakers and the human enemies you will encounter. The gameplay is fantastic, the open-world is great for exploration and the story and soundtrack are top-notch.
Zombie Army 4: Dead War
Zombie Army 4: Dead War is a sequel to Zombie Army Trilogy. Released in February 2020, Zombie Army 4 has a reasonable Metascore of 72 on Metacritic. The gameplay looks kinda fun with waves of Zombies to annihilate with various weapons. I’ve never played this one so might be worth downloading and giving it a go.
Apri’sl free PlayStation Plus games should be available to download on April 6th.
