PS VR2 pre-order launchg ames and PS VR2 headset

Pre-orders for PlayStation VR2 have begun today if you were lucky enough to get an invite from Sony that is. If you have managed to receive an invite you’ll be able to order the PS VR2 headset with the Sense controller or The PS VR2 Horizon Call of the Mountain. You’ll also be able to pre-order the Sense controller charging station. But that’s not all, there are also some PS VR2 games that you can pre-order as well.

Here is the current list of PS VR2 games you can pre-order from the PlayStation Store and their prices.

PS VR2 Launch Games: PS VR2 games you can pre-order

All of the games listed below will release on February 22nd, 2023 with the exception of The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners Ch 2 which is releasing on 21st March 2023. It’s still a launch window game though. Bear in mind that Sony requires an upfront payment when pre-ordering games from the PlayStation Store. Also, these are digital games and won’t ever be out of stock so there is no real reason to pre-order unless you want to save a few quid with the PS Plus discounts that are available for some games.

The games listed below have prices and are launch games you can pre-order right now.

Horizon Call of The Mountain

Horizon Call of the Mountain art

Release Date: 22/2/2023
Price: £59.99

The game will elt you conquer massive peaks and take on fearsome machines as you experience the world of Horizon from a new perspective.

The individual price of Horizon Call of the Mountain is quite a bit more than the other PS VR2 games listed here. With a price of £60.00, you are definitely better off pre-ordering the Horizon Call of the Mountain PS VR2 bundle at £570.00 as you will essentially get the game for £40.00 saving yourself £20.00.

Developer Guerrilla Games has said that more news on Horizon Call of the Mountain will come this week.

The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners Ch2 Retribution is probably my most anticipated PS VR2 game, even more than Horizon Call of the Mountain. Other Announced PS VR2 Games

That is all the PS VR2 games that have prices and that you can pre-order right now. There are other games that are showing on the PlayStation Store that are “announced” but have no prices and are not available for pre-order yet. These are:

Hopefully, these games will get release dates, prices and pre-order links soon to fill out the PlayStation VR2 launch lineup a bit.

Out of the launch games listed above, there are only really three that I am particularly interested in; Horizon Call of the Mountain, The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners Ch2 Retribution and Stars Wars Tales from the Galaxies Edge. Right now, the PS VR2 launch lineup is looking a little sparse with probably the aforementioned three games being potential system sellers.

There are lots more games confirmed for PS VR2 though, so hopefully, some of these will get launch dates and further information as we move closer to the launch of PlayStation VR2.
