The UK PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 games charts for the week ending 29th January have been released. The usual heavy hitters like Fifa 22 and Grand Theft Auto 5 are still dominating the charts as you would expect. But, it seems that PlayStation VR is seeing a boost in popularity a few PSVR games have re-entered the top 20.
PlayStation 4 UK Games Charts
Fifa 22 and GTA 5 are holding on at the top, EA’s cash cow football game sitting pretty in the number one spot and GTA 5 holding strong in second place. Naughty Dog’s superbly brutal The Last of Us Part 2 makes a re-entry into the top 10 at number 3. Knocking Activision’s Call of Duty: Vanguard into 4th place.
Another PlayStation exclusive, Spider-Man Miles Morales is staying put at number 5. Interestingly, PlayStation VR World nips into 7th place on the PS4 charts. Up 9 places from its position at number 16 last week. PlayStation VR Worlds knocks Rockstar’s GTA Trilogy Definitive Edition into 8th place. Newly released Rainbow six extraction slips down five places to number 9 in the UK PS4 chart.
And another Spider-Man game and PlayStation Exclusive Marvel’s Spider-Man swings into 10th place in the chart, up eight places from last week.
PlayStation VR Worlds isn’t the only PSVR game to appear in the UK charts last week. Four PlayStation VR games have re-entered the top 20. Everybody’s Golf VR re-enters the chart in 20th place, while VR action movie ’em up Blood & Truth re-enters at number 19. The awesome PSVR game Moss, where you play as a cute little mouse called Quill also jumps into the charts at number 18. And that lovable little Astro blasts back into the top 20 at number 17 with Astro Bot Rescue Mission.
PlayStation 5 UK Games Charts
No surprise but Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection which was released on Friday has entered the number one spot on the UK PS5 game chart. The collection of cinematic gameplay bliss which includes Uncharted 4 and Uncharted: The Lost Legacy has knocked Rainbow Six Extraction off the top spot.
Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart is still hammering away near the top of the charts and is up two places from last week at number 2. EA’s gambling sim, er, I mean football sim Fifa 22 is still kicking about the 18-yard box at number 3.
Elsewhere in the top 10 PS5 games in the UK, Guardians of the Galaxy makes a charismatic re-entry at number 6. While Far Cry 6 takes down despots and re-enters in 7th place. Miles Morales is still hanging on by his spidey webs but slips down six places to number 8 in the charrt. Check out the full PS5 top 10 below.
