With the release of Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart only a mere 2 and a bit months away, Insomniac Games has decided to give the PS4 Ratchet & Clank game a next-gen upgrade.
In a recent tweet, Insomniac Games has said that Ratchet & Clank (2016) will run in 60 fps on PlayStation 5, after a free update in April.

That’s fantastic news for PS5 owners who may have taken advantage of the free download of the game you can get via PlayStation’s Play at Home Campaign. Ratchet & Clank (2016) has been free to download from March 1st and if you still want to get it free, you’ve got until 1st April at 3.00 am UK Time to get it.

Ratchet & Clank (2016) for PS4 is a great game and it’s sure to whet your appetite for Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, which is due to release on 11th June. Rift Apart will of course also run at 60 FPS on PS5.
