A Capcom producer writing in the PlayStation Blog said the following about Resident Evil Village on PlayStation VR2:

The PS VR2 system is currently in development, and Resident Evil Village will be able to provide an even deeper immersive experience by taking full advantage of the vivid graphics possible with the headset’s 4K HDR display, PlayStation VR2’s eye tracking, PS5’s 3D Audio* and more.

Resident Evil Village got some great reviews when it first came out for PS4 and PS5. And now it looks set to be even better when played in PS VR2. I’m starting to think that all games would be better in VR.

In Resident Evil Village you play as Ethan Winters and the PS VR2 trailer shows some of the combat within the OPS VR2 game. The trailer also shows how you can use the PS VR2 Sense controllers to handle weapons.

There is no release date announced so far for PlayStation VR2 or for Resident Evil VIlalge’s PS VR2 outing. But the PlayStation Blog article does say to stay tuned for a release date and pricing announcement.

Resident Evil Village wasn’t the only PS VR2 game at last night’s State of Play. We also got a first look at the amazing gameplay from Horizon Call of the Mountain.
