Survivor picks up the story 5 years after Fallen order and once again sees Cal Kestis team up with his cute little droid pal BD-1.

Here’s the official synopsis of the game from the Star Wars website:

Cal must stay one step ahead of the Empire’s constant pursuit as he continues to feel the weight of being one of the last remaining Jedi in the galaxy. Developed by the veteran team at Respawn Entertainment, Jedi: Survivor will expand upon iconic Star Wars stories, worlds, and characters, and thrilling combat first experienced in Jedi: Fallen Order. Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is being built for the current generation of gaming hardware to create a deeper and more expansive Star Wars experience for players worldwide when the game launches in 2023.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor was originally revealed to be in development earlier this year. The ‘Survivor’ title was leaked a short while ago. The game is currently in development by Respawn Entertainment and will be published by Electronic Arts.

Fallen Order was an excellent game and was definitely a surprise hit when it came out in 2019. The only thing that let Fallen Order down I think was its light sabre combat. So if Survivor can tighten up the combat then EA is sure to have another stonker of a game on its hands.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is currently scheduled to launch sometime in 2023 and will be coming to PS5.
