A new State of Play is rumoured to take place by the end of September 2024 gaming insider Jeff Grubb has stated.
Grubb mentioned the State of Play during his Game Mess Mornings podcast on YouTube.
“here is probably going to be a State of Play, a PlayStation State of Play – not a Showcase – a State of Play, by the end of September,” claimed Grubb on his Game Mess Morning YouTube show.
Grubb also stated that this is when we will likely see the PS5 Pro revealed. The PS5 Pro was apparently an open secret among developers at this year’s Gamescom show.
Sony has yet to officially reveal anything about the PS5 Pro but all the rumours do seem to suggest that the mid-gen refresh does actually exist.
As for the State of Play, well it’s just a rumour for now. However, it is worth pointing out that the State of Play has been held in September in the past. Including in September 2022 and September 2023.
