My Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Medusa Edition arrived earlier today and I am pretty happy with it. I normally don’t buy big collectors editions like this, but since it’s Assassin’s Creed Odyssey I though I would splash out a bit.
I did attempt to do an unboxing video, but I don’t have the proper equipment or set up for that and I kept dropping my phone when trying to open the box so that idea was scrapped, so I thought I would just share some pictures instead.
The Medusa Edition comes with a nice amount of really cool stuff, perfect for any collector.
The Medusa Edition comes very well packaged in a fancy box with the Assassin’s Creed Odyssey logo.
Inside the box there is the usual codes for some digital content, including the Blind King Mission and some armour to wear.
There is also a really nice 64 page artwork, showcasing some of the artwork from the game. There is also a really cool printed world map to make sure I’ll never get lost on my travels around ancient Greece.
There is also a game soundtrack CD which has selection of music from the game, and of course there is the amazing Assassin’s Creed Odyssey game itself, on PS4 format of course.
And then there is the pièce de résistance, a 33cm tall statue called the Fallen Gorgon statue made by Ubicollectibles. The statue is really, really nice and has some weight to it. It seems to be made with some sort of resin and could very well be hand painted.
The statue comes with a short spear and a sword whcihyou insert intot he statues hands. The statue also has a bow on the back and the bow-string is made from a piece of black elastic thread, which was a pretty nice touch I thought.

I am currently about 2 and a half hours in to Assassin’s Creed Odyssey and I am loving it, the game is just blowing me away, I can’t wait to explore more of Ancient Greece and start hunting for secrets and puzzles.
