The Last of Part I has re-entered both the UK all-formats and PS5 boxed charts after the debut of The Last of Us TV show.
The PS5 remake of the 2013 PS3 game has re-entered the all-formats chart at number 20. The PS4 version of the game, The Last of Us Remastered has also re-entered the all-formats chart at number 32. GamesIndustry.biz reports that The Last of Us Part I sales grew by 238% and The Last of Us Remastered sales saw an increase of 322%.
In the PS5 UK Boxed charts, The Last of Us Part I has re-entered the top 5 at number 4. In the PS4 boxed chart, The Last of Us Remastered has jumped 11 places and is also at number 4.
Although The Last of Us TV Show has certainly boosted sales of the game, God of War Ragnarok still reigns supreme in the PS5 boxed chart and is sitting comfortably in the number one spot.
Another PlayStation game that will soon get its screen debut is Gran Turismo. Gran Turismo 7 is currently at number 9 in the UK PS5 boxed charts, but as with The Last of Us, I would expect sales to increase when the game comes to the big screen in August. Gran Turismo 7 will also be coming to PS VR2 at launch and it has been confirmed that pretty much the full game will be playable in VR.
