In the latest issue of Edge Magazine (issue 380, February 2023) the magazine spoke with several VR developers about Sony’s PlayStation VR2. One of the developers that Edge spoke to was Oiffy, the UK-based production company that makes TV, films, theatre and of course games.
Oiffy is currently working on The Last Worker, a first-person narrative adventure about the struggles in an increasingly automated world. The Last Worker will be coming to PS5 and PSVR2 in early 2023. PlayStation Fantaic confirmed the last worker was coming to PSVR2 way back in January.
As well as The Last Worker, Oiffy told Edge that they were also working on a second VR game. “It’s very different,” Oiffy co-founder Jorg Tittel said, “and it’s a pure VR game.” Tittel also told Edge Magazine that their mysterious new VR project would be coming exclusively to PS VR2 whenever it arrives.
That’s about all the information Oiffy was willing to divulge about their exclusive PS VR2 title. But we are sure we’ll hear more in the near future about it.
The Last Worker is scheduled to launch on PS5 and PS VR2 in early 2023 so stay tuned for more on that.
