The Walking Dead Saints & Sinners has to be one of the best games on PSVR. It has superb mechanics an immersive and scary atmosphere and tons of Walkers to brain. That’s why I was really hoping that Saints & Sinners – Chapter 2: Retribution would be announced during last night’s State of Play. And it was.
TWD Saints & Sinners – Chapter 2: Retribution was unveiled as a PS VR2 game in all its gory glory. Check out the trailer below to get a glimpse of the awesome gameplay.
Saints & Sinners Chapter 2: Retribution was announced a while back by developer Skydance Interactive. Since then it looks like they have been working hard on it and there are some key changes from the first TWD Saints & Sinners.
What’s New In Chapter 2?
In a PlayStation Blog article posted after the State of Play, Skydance detailed some of the key differences in Retribution that will make it a worthy sequel. Skydance Interactive also said that there are many surprises to come but they will be saving these for later in the year.
Chapter 2: Retribution will introduce all-new weapons for the Tourist to use against the living dead. The Walking Dead Saints & Sinners had the iconic axe but it looks like Chapter 2: Retribution’s weapon of choice will be a chainsaw.
Stealth will also play a big part in Retribution, as Skydance revealed that going out scavenging amongst the hordes at night will be a thing. To make stealth a bit easier, Skydance has included silencers. These can be useful for helping you avoid alerting any nearby Walkers.
There will be plenty of new dangers in The Walking Dead Saints & Sinners Chapter 2: Retribution. One of them is the Axeman, who was hinted at in the TWDS&S Aftershocks DLC. Walkers will also appear in much greater numbers making the undead threat even more dangerous. Human enemies will also present a serious threat just like in the first game. With battles against humans being much more complex.
Because of the power of PS5 and PS VR2 players will also enjoy much larger levels as well as better graphics and better tracking.

Chapter 2: Retribution Will Also Be On PSVR, Won’t be on PS VR2 Until 2023
The Walking Dead Saints & Sinners Chapter 2 Retribution will also be coming to PSVR in late 2022. Fans who watched the trailer during the State of Play may have seen the 2022 release date and thought PS VR2 was coming this year. However, the PlayStation Blog states that Retribution won’t be coming to PS VR2 until 2023.
