A Cairn in Wrath of the Druids is a stone stacking puzzle in which you are presented with several different size and shape stones which you have to stack on top of each other to reach a specific height to complete the puzzle.
In Wrath of the Druids, there are four Cairns throughout Ireland that you have to solve. Especially if you are going for the Irish Legend trophy, where you have to complete all territories of Ireland.

Interacting with the Cairn puzzles
There is no exact solution for the Cairn puzzles as there are potentially several different solutions for each one. Once you are at the Cairn location, press triangle to interact with the Cairn. You then use the on-screen cursor and the cross button to pick up a stone at a time and place it.
Stones can be rotated and tilted into different positions and angles and sometimes it is just a matter of trial and error to get them to stack. As previously mentioned, the goal is to stack the stones to reach a pre-determined height. The height you need to reach is shown by a semi-transparent blue disc above the Cairn puzzle area.
Cairn puzzle locations & possible solutions
There are four Cairn puzzles in Ireland, one in each region. Cairns come under the Mysteries category and are donated by a glowing light blue dot on the map or the radar. Once you are close enough o the Cairn location, you can use Odin’s sight to highlight the location and it will show up with the blue Cairn icon.

Connacht Cairn puzzle, Ben Bulben
The Connacht Cairn is located on the western side of the Connacht region, northwest of the northern-most sync point in the region. It is on a named mountain area called Ben Bulben.

Dublin Cairn puzzle
The Dublin Cairn is located in the southeast of Dublin, southeast of the main town.

Meath Cairn puzzle, Inchroe’s Bog
The Meath Cairn is located in the centre of the Meath region, in the Inchroe’s Bog area. It is north of Knockfree and southeast of Drumlish Trade Post.

Ulster Cairn puzzle, Malin Head
The Ulster Cairn is located in the very north of the Ulster region, on an island called Malin Head. The cairn is located on the southern side of this island.
