Get a teste of Rift Apart before it releases on June 11th

I am always amazed at what people can create in Dreams. The Dreamiverse is full of amazing games, there are tons of original games and also a lot of fan-made version of classic games like Sonic, Mario and even The Last of Us. Now a Ratchet & Clank fan has made Rift Apart in Dreams.

Here’s some short gameplay footage of me playing Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, made entirely in Dreams on PS4.

Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart Fan-Made Dreams Version

The fan-made Dreams version of Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart has been made by a talented creator called Sharfik1995. The game is really, really good and has the Ratchet & Clank gameplay and mechanics pretty much down to a tee.

I’ve only had a go at the first level, but from the 10 minutes or so I spent on the game, it was very well done indeed. There is some platforming, some enemies to defeat (some are pretty tough) and the fan-made game features an ensemble of combat and traversal moves, from the hammer throw, the jumping ground-pounding attack to gliding across large gaps.

In this fan-made love letter to Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, you get to play as Rivet, the female Lomax who’ll be helping Ratchet & Clank take down Doctor Nefarious.

The Rivet character is extremely well created and almost looks exactly like her big-budget counterpart. The animation is also spot on from he way Rivet moves to the way her tail wags as she runs.

The fan-made Dreams version of Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart starts off with an animated cutscene. It’s the same as the one we have seen in the PS5 game footage where Rivet (the female Lombax) drops in.

The Dreams version of Rift Apart even features some voiceover dialogue. There are also breakable boxes, just like in the real Ratchet & Clank games. A lot of work has obviously gone into this Dreams creation, so if you have a copy of Dreams make sure to check out this fan-made version of Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart.

Just go to the Dream Surfing menu and search for ‘Rift Apart.’
