Alfred Hitchcock – Vertigo is a narrative game from Microids and developer Pendula Studios which is loosely based on Alfred Hitchcock’s 1958 movie of the same name.
The project was originally announced in 2018 when Microids acquired the rights to use the name and likeness of the legendary director. Microids also acquired the rights to use elements from the director’s classic film Vertigo.
“Writer Ed Miller came out unscathed from his car crash down into Brody Canyon, California. Even though no one was found inside the car wreckage, Ed insists that he was traveling with his wife and daughter. Traumatized by this event, he begins to suffer from severe vertigo. As he starts therapy, he will try to uncover what really happened on that tragic day.”
Alfred Hitchcock – Vertigo is scheduled for a late 2021 release on PS5 and PS4.
