UK-based Proxima Studio, formed by AAA veterans has announced its first game, Warship Jolly Roger.
Warship Jolly Roger is a narrative-driven, space adventure game set in a vibrant and intricate universe. It follows the story of Jon Munro and his crew as they embark on a quest for redemption and rebellion against the tyrannical regime of President Vexton.
Along with the announcement of Warship Jolly Roger, Proxima Studio has also released the official teaser trailer for the game which you can check out below.
The teaser trailer does a good job of giving us a look at what the game is about. Graphically, it looks pretty nice and fans of space adventure and narrative games are sure to be drawn in by its story.
A narrative of courage, strategy and defiance
Talking about the story, Proxima has also published a plot summary for the game which gives a brief overview of what the game is all about.
The game centers on Jon Munro, a former officer in the Confederation, as he navigates through a universe rife with danger and betrayal. After a heart-wrenching plea from his wife, Jon sets out on a defiant mission against President Vexton, who uses his family as political leverage. The journey takes players from the quest for Fuel Cells on Planet Erial to the mysterious Planet Woss, revealing a narrative of courage, strategy, and defiance.
