Yes, another new week is upon us and that means more PlayStation games are headed our way. Like last week, this week is a bit light on major releases but there’s still plenty to choose from.
One game to look out for this week might be Broken Roads. It’s a narrative-driven turn-based RPG set in a post-apocalyptical Australia. The game brings exploration, strategic, turn-based-combat and philosophical choices to the Australian post-apocalypse setting.
According to the developer’s description, Broken Roads skillfully blends traditional and all-new role-playing elements on top of a classless system offering near-unlimited character development options built around four philosophies: Humanist, Utilitarian, Machiavellian, and Nihilist. Broken Roads is out on April 10th for PS5 and PS4.
Another one to watch this week is Loretta. It’s a 2D psychological thriller that follows Loretta, a struggling housewife who learns of her husband’s infidelity. Become an accessory to a woman’s crimes as she navigates her husband’s infidelity and spirals into a nightmare of her own creation in ‘Loretta.’
PSVR2 fans have something to look forward to this week in the form of Mixture. Mixture is a fantasy action-adventure VR game in which two enemies in an alliance of necessity traverse barren worlds in a quest for redemption. Essentially, it’s a single-player game where you play as two characters. Sounds like an interesting concept.
Mixture is finally getting released this week on April 12th having been delayed previously. Let’s hope it doesn’t get delayed again.
