PS VR2 fans will need to wait an extra month before they can put their headset on and start kicking ass in Bulletstorm VR. Developer Incuvo and publisher People Can Fly have announced that the PS VR2 first-person shooter has been delayed until January 18, 2024.

Originally planned to release on December 14, Bulletstorm VR is a highly anticipated game for PS VR2. Incuvo and People Can Fly took to X (formerly Twitter) to break the news to fans saying:

We know that Bullestorm fans are eager to put on their VR headsets and kick ass in Virtual Reality. We aim to use this time to continue improving the experience to ensure that Bulletstorm VR lives up to the high standards you’ve come to expect from the well-known AAA FPS franchise and People Can Fly as a developer of high-quality AAA Games.

We are incredibly thankful to our fans for their support and passion surrounding the Bulletstorm series and deeply appreciate everyone’s patience.

Bulletstorm VR puts players in the ass-kicking boots of former Dead Echo Squad Leader Grayson Hunt, as he battles his way across the abandoned resort planet of Stygia in glorious VR! Embark on a comically ultraviolent journey as Grayson and his crew try to survive and exact revenge on the corrupt General Sarrano.

Reading the replies to the announcement on X, fans are disappointed by the delay but most are happy that Incuvoa and People Can Fly are taking the time to make a high-quality release.

Bulletstorm VR will now be released on PS VR2 on January 18, 2024. That’s the day before The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered will be released.
