This coming week is another packed week for new game releases on PS5, PSVR2 and PS4. The line-up includes some triple-A games intertwined with a healthy amount of indies to keep your thumbs busy for a while.
On the triple-A front, there is Robocop: Rogue City, a game I really want to play since becoming a fan of the Robocop franchise after watching the original 1987 film. Alas, I’ve still to Spider-Man 2 to finish and Assassin’s Creed Mirage, so I will need to hold off on that one for a while.
Also out this week is Teamkill Media’s cosmic horror FPS Quantum Error. Quantum Error promises cinematic storytelling, seamless gameplay and stunning graphics on PS5. The game is set in the coming of the Quantum age and you explore the high-tech Monad facility and beyond. This is poised to be an absolute gem of a game.
On the indie side of things, The Talos Principle 2 is out this week for PS5. I loved the first game, although the puzzles did get really tough near the end. The sequel expands on everything that made the first game so great. There will be even more mind-bending puzzles, more surreal environments to explore and more secrets to uncover.

Moving on to PSVR2 now, there are some crackers coming this week for your Virtual Reality pleasures. First up is The Foglands from Well Told. It’s a VR action, adventure roguelike where you have to run into the unknown to fight monsters, scavenge loot and try and make it back before the fog swallows you. The Foglands will also be able to be played on PS5 without a VR headset, but it will probably be better played in VR.
Also out this week for PSVR2 is Vampire The Masquerade – Justice. It’s an adventure RPG with a gritty narrative where you play as Justice, a vampire out to uncover the mystery behind their sire’s murder. Vampire The Masquerade – Justice is developed by Fast Travel Games, who have already brought us some cracking PSVR2 games like Cities VR and Ghost Signal.
