If you have ever played the first Red Matter game on PS VR1, you’ll know that it was a brilliant sci-fi adventure puzzle game set in an abandoned Soviet space station on Mars. Now developer Vertical Robot has announced that the sequel, Red Matter 2 will be coming to PlayStation VR2 “very soon.”
Red Matter 2 was released to PC and OCulas VR platform in August last year but never got a PS VR1 release. But now with PS VR2’s more high-end VR tech under the hood, it looks like the developer has decided to bring it to PS5.
- Silky smooth 120fps with no reprojection
- Foveated Rendering for unparalleled clarity
- 4K remastered textures so you can see every detail
- Enhanced lighting, shadows and bloom for a striking visual journey
In Red Matter 2 you step into the shoes of Sasha an agent awakened in a lunar base by an undercover operative. Sasha is tasked with uncovering the secrets of the mysterious Red Matter.
There is no exact release date for Rd Matter 2 on PS VR2 just yet but the game has recently been added to the PlayStation Store. So a launch date is likely not too far away.
