Writing on the PlayStation Blog, Mark MacDonald, Executive Producer at publisher Enhance said that the reason the game will be coming to PS Plus on day one is that it “guarantees a massive audience for our game’s robust user-generated content features.”

This means that tons of players will be able to create and play each other’s creations. As well as user-generated content, Humanity also offers a 90-plus stage single-player story mode.

What is Humanity?

Humanity is an action puzzle game where you control a glowing Shiba Inu dog, placing commands on the ground for a giant marching horde of people to follow. Make them turn, jump, float through the air, swim, climb, etc., all to reach the goal (or goals) in each stage.

The game gradually introduces these mechanics and more, combining them with each other and new elements to ramp up the challenge the further you go.

Humanity will hit the PlayStation Plus games catalogue on May 16th. And even better, it will be compatible with PlayStation VR2. Humanity’s debut on PS Plus on May 16th also makes the game the first PS VR2 game on the PlayStation subscription service.

Humanity will also be playable in PS VR1 as well as being able to be played on a TV for both PS5 and PS4.
