God of War Ragnarok Creative Director Cory Barlog has teased Santa Monica Studio’s next game on Twitter. The video game veteran didn’t reveal much but did say that he is “seeing some early things coming together.”
In a November 2022 interview with the LA Times, Barlog said the studio is “spread out on a lot of different things.” Also in the interview, God of War Ragnarok Director Eric Williams said that there would be no shame in the studio dedicating itself to God of War full-time
Santa Monica Studio studio released God of War Ragnarok in 2022 and more recently released God of War Ragnarok: Valhalla. A free Rogue-like mode that follows Kratos on a deeply personal and reflective journey.
