It’s impossible to tell what Sony’s first-party studios are working on right now. Information about new titles is usually thin on the ground and very vague. Bluepoint Games, who developed the Shadow of the Colossus remake for PS4 and the Demon’s Souls Remake for PS5 are also working on a new project. But they haven’t revealed what that project is yet. But they will when the time is right.
In a tweet by Bluepoint Games Head of Technology Peter Dalton, he acknowledged the many layoffs happening in Big Tech right now and said that Bluepoint Games is “hard at work on our next project and have several openings.”
In another tweet, Peter Dalton responded to a fan question asking when we will get to know what Bluepoint has been working on. Dalton replied, “When the time is right. All good things take time.”
While it is currently not known what Bluepoint Games are working on, fans are hoping that it might be a Bloodborne Remake. But going by some of the current job openings for Bluepoint, it could be a brand-new IP. I guess we’ll find out when the time is right.
