God of War Ragnarok has gone gold ahead of it’s November 9th launch developer Santa Monica Studio has annoucned.
In a Twitter post the developer said “We are thrilled to announce that #GodofWarRagnarok has gone gold! On behalf of SMS and all of our partners, thank you to the fans for supporting us over the course of development. We’re almost to launch and can’t wait for you to play on November 9!”
God of War Ragnarok is the sequal to the 2018 hit God of War. With the annoucnement that the game has gone gold, which means the development work is done and physical discs can be printed, we can sit back and wait patiently until November 9th rolls around.
Although teh main development work is finsihed, Santa Monica Studio will still be working on a day one patch and planning future updates for the game.
The klatest God of War is set to be a truely epic adventure as Kratos and Atreus set out on another journey together.
God of War Ragnarok will be available on both PS4 and PS5 and will be out on November 9th.
