PlayStation’s presentation at CES 2022 revealed quite a bit of new info on Sony’s upcoming next-generation PS5 Virtual Reality offering. During CEO Jim Ryan’s talk, the official name was revealed and the powerful specs were unveiled.
Of course, PS VR2 would not be much without some awesome games to get immersed in using the new tech. Luckily PlayStation had a trick up its sleeve with the announcement of Horizon: Call of the Mountain.
Horizon: Call of the Mountain is a brand new experience built for PlayStation VR2 and set in the world of Horizon. The new PS VR2 hardware and Sense controllers, combined with stunning visuals will give a new meaning to being fully immersed in the world of Horizon.
In Horizon: Call of the mountain, the story will be told through the eyes of a brand new character. But you will meet Aloy and other familiar faces from Horizon along the way.
Sony plans to reveal more info on the main protagonist of Horizon: Call of the Mountain soon.
Horizon: Call of the Mountain is being developed by Guerrilla Games and Firesprite and should be out alongside the PlayStation VR2. Whenever that may be.
Horizon: Forbidden West is due out on February 18th for PS4 and PS5.
