New PS5, PS4 games this week

This coming week is a great week for new PS5 and PS4 game releases. While last week was a bit sparse with new games this week sees a number of big names hitting PlayStation as well as several indie offerings.

Early in the week, we have The Last Days of Lazarus heading to PS5. Set in post-Soviet eastern Europe, it’s a first-person adventure that tells the story of a troubled man returning to his childhood home after his Mother’s death. The game offers a strong narrative and rich visuals and supernatural elements. Sounds good. The Last Days of Lazarus will release digitally on the PlayStation Store on November 29th with a physical version available on December 2nd.

Also early in the week is Sable from Shedworks. In the game, you embark on a unique and unforgettable journey and guide Sable through her Gliding; a rite of passage that will take her across vast deserts and mesmerizing landscapes, capped by the remains of spaceships and ancient wonders. Sable looks like one of those indie games that could be as well received as Journey.

Another indie game arriving this week that might be worth looking out for is Megalan 11. It’s an exploration, puzzle game where you have to escape from a planet after your rescue ship crash lands.

On Friday December 2nd we have a handful of AAA titles coming to PS5 and PS4. There is of course The Callisto Protocol, which I am pretty excited about. There’s also Marvel’s Midnight Suns, but it’s a turn-based game so not really my cup of tea. And last but not least is Need for Speed Unbound which is sure to thrill racing fans with fast-paced driving and whatever new features EA have squeezed into the latest game.
