Ah, another new week filled with new game releases. The only problem is having the money to buy these new games and finding the time to play them. But if you are flush with cash and have all the time in the world, then read on to find out what new PS5, PSVR2 and PS4 games are coming out this week.
This week isn’t filled with big-budget triple-a releases, rather it’s subtly packed with smaller indie titles and a couple of double-a games.
Probably the biggest game to be arriving this week is Pacific Drive. A run-based, first-person driving survival game where your card is your only companion. Pacific Drive sounds like an interesting premise but I’ve recently got Helldivers 2 and Banishers Ghosts of New Eden, so Pacific Drive will need to stay parked in the garage for now. Pacific Drive steers its way onto PS5 on Thursday 22nd of February.
Another noteworthy game coming this Week is King Arthur: Knights Tale. The turn-based tactical RPG from NeoCore Games finally arrives on console on February 22nd. It’s a unique hybrid between turn-based tactical games and traditional, character-centric RPGs. So if turn-based tactics are your bag then keep an eye out for King Arthur: Knights Tale.
On the VR front, well, there’s not much. The only game releasing for PSVR2 this week is Operation Serpens, a fast-paced VR action shooter that resembles classic action movies. It doesn’t look too bad but it looks like Crossfire Sierra Squad will retain its arcade VR shooter crown for now.
