It’s another new week and that means more new games to peruse to decide which ones to buy.
This week sees a couple of big titles arrive on PS5 and a couple of PSVR2 games as well. The two biggest games coming out this week are Skull and Bones from Ubisoft and Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden from Don’t Nod and Focus Entertainment.
Banishers has been on my radar for a while now, it looks like an entertaining RPG with an interesting story to tell. Basnishers GHosts of New Eden tells the story of two lovers, Antea Duarte and Red Mac Raith (voiced by Scottish actor Russ Bain.) The couple are also ghost hunters who protect the living from spirits and spectres. But the story takes a twist when Antea becomes a ghost herself.
Finally out this week is the much-delayed Skull and Bones. I have to be honest and say I haven’t been paying much attention to this one, but if you liked Assassin’s Creed Black FLag you’ll probably like Skull and Bones.
On the PSVR2 side of things, two games are coming this week to keep VR fans happy. First up is Survivorman VR: The Descent, a survival game based on a Canadian version of Bear Grilles. There is also Train Chase, a low-poly VR wave shooter from German developer Rhine Games.
